“I love surrealism. I try to create images that make people do a double take. Hippo-Frog was patched together from three animals: a frog (the body), a hippo (the head) and a cat (the ears). It involved a lot of blending and colour-matching, mostly achieved with Curves Adjustment Layers.” – Jan Oliehoek
