How to add a signature to your work
01 Define your brush
Create a new document and add a blank layer. Choose a black brush and write your signature. Select your signature with the Magic Wand, then from the Edit menu select Define Brush Preset and give your new brush a name.
02 Select your brush
Select the Brush tool and then scroll down the Brush Options. At the end of the preview icons you’ll see your new signature brush. Click to select it, and then set the Opacity and Flow to 100%. Load the image you want to apply your signature to.
03 Add your signature
Set the Size of the brush as appropriate to the image. The ] and [ bracket keys are the best way to resize the brush. Select the colour that you want for your signature from the Foreground colour swatch options. Click to apply the signature to the image.
04 Add a watermark
Follow the same procedure as before to create a brush from the image you want to use as your watermark. In the Options bar, decrease the Opacity to 5% and leave Flow at 100%. Click the image to apply. If the effect of the watermark is too subtle, undo with Cmd/Ctrl+ Z, increase the Opacity and try again.
