    The new year is a great time to take a look back at everything that happened in the past 12 months. And the folks over at the Washington Post have kindly taken a look at Photoshop efforts that haven’t gone quite right in in 2011.

    It starts with a look at the infamous poster of President Obama and various world leaders shown kissing for a Benetton advert, which though obviously a fake, was executed so well that it caused a worldwide ripple of double takes.

    The rest of the examples probably wish they weren’t on the list, for instance the Filipino officials Photoshopped into a cleanup operation after the devastating typhoon, a mascara advert with suspiciously long eyelashes, different models seemingly with the same bodies for a clothing company and more.
