Preview: Christian Boian’s portfolio | Practical Photoshop

Have a look at the work of Romanian digital artist Christian Boian, who is featured in Practical Photoshop Issue 4, out on Thursday.

We can’t wait for you to see the beautiful images in Christian Boian’s portfolio, which is featured in the upcoming edition of Practical Photoshop.

Christian originally started out studying computer science at university, and it is from this that he derives his unique style.

Relying on experimentation, Christian starts each piece of work from the basic element of a single pixel. Often, he doesn’t even know what he wants the finished picture to look like.

In the images you can see beautiful curves, fascinating colours and creative lines which are interpretations of leaves, dance movement, nature and more. He uses tools such as the Skew, Transform and Colour Balance to help him achieve the final results which demonstrate just how versatile Photoshop can be.

To find out more information about Christian, visit his website and look out for more of his images in Issue 04 of the magazine, which is in shops from Thursday.
