Find hidden gems in Photoshop CS5

Find hidden gems in Photoshop CS5

We’re all familiar with the every day tools in Photoshop that help us turn good photos into great ones. But what about all those hidden away little tools that you might only discover by accident?  Adobe has created a series of videos to help you discover Photoshop secrets

Adobe has been asking people on their Photoshop.com blog for their favourite hidden Photoshop gems, as well as creating a series of videos to demonstrate some of these features.

Many of them stem from the Content Aware Fill tool that made its debut in CS5 and became one of the program’s most popular features.

So far, five videos have been uploaded, each less than two minutes long and designed to show you a quick fix using a Tool you might not have thought about before.

In one video, you can see how to straighten images using the Puppet Warp tool, while another shows you how to get to grips with the Pixel Bender plugin.

So what’s your favourite “hidden gem” – let us know in the comments box below, or drop us a line at letters@practicalphotoshopmag.com. One ‘star’ letter will receive some fine art printing paper from Fotospeed.
