Showcase: Marta Orlowska | Practical Photoshop
Marta’s images seek to unearth the beauty and hidden meanings in ordinary, everyday scenes, no matter how ugly or mundane they may at first appear. www.martaorlowska.com
A graphic designer based in the UK, Marta has been enthralling visitors to the photo-sharing website Flickr since 2009 with her meticulous composites and visual illustrations. A hallmark of Marta’s work is taking a traditional photo location such as a landscape, beach or street scene and using multiple exposures and her keen image-editing skills to reinterpret these locations into something more surreal.
In her portraiture Marta also likes to create a dream-like quality that suggests the other dimensions of a person’s personality. Much of the inspiration for her work comes from literature. You can see more of her work at: http://www.martaorlowska.com/
