    Take the Practical Photoshop Challenge

    Download these  images and use  your creativity to create an original montage and you could win a great prize from WhiteWallEvery issue we set a creative task based on a technique featured in the mag and our inaugural challenge is inspired by this issue’s cover and the montage tutorial. We’ve supplied 12 images which you can download here, comprising six textures, three landscapes, two portraits and an abstract. Use them however you like to create your own masterpiece. We’ve pieced together our own creation here as an example, but this doesn’t mean you have to do something similar. In fact, we’d love it if you enter something completely different. Our favourite images will be featured in issue three, giving you have plenty of time to enter, and the overall winner will have their image professionally framed. Good luck – we’re can’t wait to see what you come up with!

    How to enter

    Download the challenge pictures – 12 high-res images you can use as a starting point to create your own work of art. You must use a minimum of three images. You can enter by email to challenge@practicalphotoshopmag.com
    or by sending a CD to :

    Practical Photoshop, Future Publishing, 30 Monmouth Street,

    Bath BA1 2BW.

    Please give your finished creation a suitable title and supply a couple of lines to describe what you did and why. The closing date for entries is 28 June 2011. We look forward to seeing the results and we’ll publish of our favourite entries in issue three – on sale  28 July.
